Be Still . . .
Devotionals for Daily Living ©
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
(Psalms 121:1-2 (NIV))
Have you found yourself lifting your eyes upward more as the events of this world continue to deteriorate in a sinful, downward spiral?
We are told to look up!
When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."
(Luke 21:28 (NIV))
Are you looking for your source of help? Are you looking for your redemption?
If you have placed your faith in Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, then you know exactly where your help comes from. You know exactly who is the source of your redemption.
Perhaps the biggest question that all of us must answer is this. Do you long for His return or do you long for things to return to the way that they used to be? Your answer will tell you where your priorities lie.
Do you love the world so much that you will miss it, or do you desire to be with the Lord because the world has gone absolutely insane? Do you think that good is being called evil and that evil is being called good? Do you think that humanity can solve the problems we see with wars and rumors of wars? Do you believe the insanity of tolerance and fluidity, or do you still hold Biblical values as the only truth?
There are so many things that are happening in this world that have me constantly lifting my eyes and asking, "How much longer, Lord?"
Are you lifting your eyes in search of the Lord?
Now is the time, Don't delay!
Seek His help today!
