I blog to document the world as I see it. There are those that wish I'd shut up; the things I say make them quite uncomfortable. Nobody said they had to read my blog. I'd actually prefer they didn't.
This isn't about an actual neighbor, but I do know men - and women - who will sit in church pews today and pray for this very thing.

A Neighbor's Lament I wanna go back to those days when Jesus rules and white men win. Where a woman knows her place. Kid, wipe that smirk off your face! Ah, back then girls never would call the cops when you smacked 'em good. The cops would likely smack 'em too. They piss us off, that's what we do. Kids don't get to choose to be another gender. No disabilities, unless you just can't hide their maim, and then the mother is to blame. If your skin's yellow, black, or brown, best not be out once the sun goes down, cuz if you do, your folks might see a post card of your lynched body. Ah yes, those days a white man could get a good job and his co-workers would be white men too so he could say whatever thoughts come his way. Oh, I don't know. I pray each night for God to put this nation right. If only He would hurry on and put us back where we belong.
