Today's Bible Reading- Isaiah Chapters 55-59.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 87°, mostly sunny with a few clouds, 10% chance of rain, good air quality, winds coming in from the southwest at 7 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 97%.
Boy, oh boy, is it stuffy this morning. Gracie loves it, but I had to turn the air on. We had quite the storm yesterday afternoon. It was right after supper. No, right as we were starting supper. My bad. It poured and poured, and the wind blew so hard, it blew the neighbor's trampoline over, and it blew the lid off our charcoal holder. The charcoal is now wet. Wonderful.
Supper wasn't meatloaf. It was tostadas. Mom felt it was too hot to make meatloaf. Okay. The beef is in the fridge, so I'm making the meatloaf today. I'll make it this morning, and just reheat is later.
Yesterday was a day of accomplishments. I took the library book back, and then I went over to the UPS place to find out about the package. All that worry and wondering and guess what. Turns out the package belonged to a neighbor and it had been delivered. The UPS driver put a sticker on the wrong door. Isn't that something?
After that snafu was cleared up, I headed home and that's when Mom told me to just make tostadas instead of meatloaf. Okay. Works for me. I then went into my room to tackle the next project. Ledgers. I opened the software, and within about two minutes I found the problem. I had the entry I thought was missing listed, but I'd hit the wrong date on it. It was supposed to be August 2nd, but I'd put July 2nd. In other words, I was balanced, but just listed something under the wrong date. That was a relief. Since I was in the software, I went ahead and balanced ledgers, paid some bills, and saved everything.
I thought maybe the mail lady had come, so I went ahead and took the bills down to the post office and plopped them in the box. Headed home and chilled. Can you imagine that I forgot that it was supposed to be my laundry day? I did.
Today's goals will be laundry, making meatloaf, and I think I'll plant another seed of something.
That's all for now, peeps. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
