Today's Bible Reading- Isaiah Chapters 50-54.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 92°, partly sunny, 50% chance of rain this afternoon, good air quality, winds are coming in from the west southwest at 13 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 79%.
It's a busy Monday today, peeps. I have a library book to return, ledgers to balance, bills to pay, and meatloaf to make. When I say it like that, it doesn't sound like much, but it is. Oh, and I have a package to locate. That's a whole other enchilada.
See, what happened was. . . there was a note left on our door 4 days ago by the UPS dude. I was getting dressed and I thought Mom would get the doorbell. Turns out she was getting in the shower. So, UPS dude left a note saying that the package would be at a pickup location, and he put the address on the note. Okay. I went there as soon as I could, but it wasn't there yet, and the lady at the counter said it'd take 1-2 days to actually get there. Okay. Well, then I ended up in the ER and then I forgot about it, so I went back there on Saturday with Mom to pick up the package. They didn't have it. Now I'm a little nervous. Why isn't it there? I get in the car and I look up the tracking code. It not only says it was dropped off there, but it names the employee who received it. Okay. I go back into the store and things go from bad to worse. There's no employee by that name there. We tried tracking it down, but no dice. Long story short, it's looking like maybe the driver faked drop-off information and took the package.
What's in the package, you may ask. We don't know. Pop doesn't remember ordering anything. I haven't ordered anything, and certainly nothing that would require signature verification. The only thing that we can think of is that it's our taxes. Let's hope not. The only thing I can do is to take the information into the main UPS place and see if we can find what's going on.
As for the ledgers, I've made a mistake somewhere and it needs fixing. The amounts are solid, but I'm missing some entries. How the amounts are solid with entries missing, I don't know, and that's why the ledgers need a solid going-over.
The library book is due today, so I definitely need to take that back. That's a 30-minute trip out and about.
Then there's the meatloaf. That'll take a while. I have to defrost the meat and then crank up the oven. Oy. That's gonna be hot. Maybe meatloaf isn't a good idea. I'll figure something out. The other option is beef and beans with cornbread. I'm not ready for that yet.
In other news, the California family has moved. They left sometime Saturday night. I went out to feed the fish yesterday morning, and their car was gone and their grill and basketball hoop had been left in the neighbor's driveway across the road. Their kids had made friends with the neighbor kids. It's kind of sad. They weren't here very long. At first, I wasn't happy that they were here because a lot of people moving here from California are super liberal and they like to ruin everything. They complain about everything, are rude and demanding. These peeps weren't like that. They were quiet and kept to themselves and were just living life.
Oh, I do have more news about the greenhouse. The plans are going well. We're whittling down ideas so that we can build the most efficient greenhouse. Right now, we've worked out a possible solution: a geo dome, and instead of having bunches of IBC totes for the fish tanks, use one large swimming pool with a special liner as our fish tank. It'll be in the center of the greenhouse, and then the grow beds will surround it.
That's all I have for now, peeps. I have some gallstone dissolver I bought from the health food store. I think it may be working. It requires a lot of water drinking, but I need the water. I almost got the full dosage in yesterday. I need to take 2 1/2 droppers of the stuff 5 times a day. It sounds like a lot, but a "full" dropper isn't really that much.
Okay, that's truly all for now. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
