Today's Bible Reading- 2 Kings Chapters 19-21.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 80°, sunny with some clouds, 10% chance of rain today, moderate air quality, winds from the east northeast at 6 miles per hour, and humidity is sitting at 96%.
What a day yesterday. I forgot that Mom had lab work. We went there and they didn't have the lab order from the doctor's office. Again. Oh my word. Mom used to just have a standing order, but nope. They don't do that anymore. You have to get a new order every single time. Very frustrating, especially when you call and everything is automated. Oh well. Let it go, Lizzi. Let it go.
After lab work, I took Mom out and about for a bit, and she went to the grocery store with me. Then we got some burgers and headed home. After eating, I went out and spent the remainder of the afternoon trying to find items for the birthday box, which has now become plural. One gift I found for my youngest niece is too big for the box we have currently, so I got a separate box for her. We'll probably ship them out together, though, since both birthdays are so close together.
As the title of today's post suggests, it's fridge day. The fridge should be here anytime between 11:00 and 1:00. I'll have to move the car so the truck can back in. It'll be plopped down at the end of the driveway, and then after the truck leaves, I'll park my car in at an angle so people who may want to steal it will have a hard time.
I think I'll check on the garden today, too. Ouch! Gracie just nipped my foot. She wants me over where she is while she's eating. I told her to wait. I guess she didn't like that answer.
Supper tonight will be something different. I was blanking on what to have and I found a recipe for spring rolls. I've never made them before, so say a prayer they turn out decent. Mom isn't a fan of rice paper. Texture thing. I'm going to make her a salad. My spring rolls will have lettuce, cucumber, carrot, coleslaw cabbage blend, and grilled chicken strips. I'll have a spicy blueberry dipping sauce on the side. It sounds delicious. I hope it is.
That's all I have for now, folks. After the fridge is here, I'll probably make a trip to the pet store for wet cat food. I'm glad I ordered the litter. They were still out at the grocery store yesterday. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
