Shereen Shabnam
Bulgaria is home to many beautiful attractions and the capital city, Sofia, is a vibrant and dynamic place to visit. During a recent visit to the city, I ventured out to see the many attractions in the city and in the suburbs.
With rich history and culture, traditional festivals and celebrations throughout the year, check the country's events like the Kukeri Festival and the Rose Festival. My favourite time of the day was trying hearty and delicious Bulgarian meals, with influences from Greek, Turkish, and Slavic traditions.

Bulgaria has a continental climate with hot summers and cold winters. If you're visiting during the summer months, pack lightweight clothing, sunscreen, and a hat. For winter visits, bring warm clothing, including a jacket, hat, and gloves.
