Today's Bible Reading- 1 Kings Chapters 15-17.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 79°, sunny, 20% chance of rain, good air quality, the wind is calm at the moment, and humidity is sitting at 90%.
I'm so grateful that it's Saturday. My joints aren't hurting nearly as bad this morning. The coffee is decent. Supper yesterday was delicious. Oh man. I made a salad and put carrot, cucumber and watermelon radish in it. It was so good. I thought about that salad the rest of the evening. Mm. I'm thinking about it now. It felt like real food, you know? We get so used to processed food and it feels so good to eat something real. The beef short ribs were delicious as well. They fell off the bones, and I shredded them and added Rufus Teague's keto-friendly bbq sauce. I think it's called Slim n Sweet or something like that. A little heavy on the celery, but it worked. I made some gluten free mac and cheese, too. It was just a good dinner. Definitely want to make it again at some point.
Today is my official day off. Gracie's been Clingy McClingerson today. I think she thinks I'm going to leave her again. She urped a hairball up yesterday on my sheets, so I had to change them last night. Then she decided to "help" me make the bed by lying on the fitted sheet and stretching out. She's currently chilling on her pillow. I have a video of birds on, and she's watching me intensely to see if I'm going to get up from my desk.
Today would be a great day to work on garden stuff. I have a feeling that the lawn crew may show up today, so I need to prepare a check for them. Maybe I could get the tiller working and till up a little plot. I don't know. I don't want to get my joints hurting again.
I honestly don't know what I'm going to end up doing today. I know there are things I need to do, but I just want to chill today. Enjoy the weather. Get some gardening in. Plant some seeds. Maybe I'll go down to the dollar store. I don't know. We'll see what happens.
That's all for now, folks. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
