Today's Bible Reading- Genesis Chapters 5-8.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. As the title suggests, we have another foggy morning on our hands. Our forecast for today is: 66°, 90% chance of rain, a chance of some severe weather in the next 24 hours, and air quality isn't that great today.
I was going to take the tree down yesterday, but my mom convinced me to keep it up until Friday. While feeding it yesterday I noticed new growth! Little baby pine cones are starting to grow on the tree, so this weekend, I'll have to find a way to try and get it to root and maybe we can plant it in the yard. Not my idea. My dad's idea. We've never had a Christmas tree do that before, so we're all wondering if we can actually get it to take root. I'll have to look in to the matter today.
I cleaned Gracie's fountain this morning. I meant to do it yesterday, but the day got away from me. First, I made waffles, sausage and scrambled eggs for brunch. Then, Pop wanted to go and order Mom's chair for her birthday. Then we had to take the old cable receiver back. That was a long wait. By the time we got home, it was after 2:00 in the afternoon and Pop had to leave for the RV.
We did have a conversation yesterday about house renovations this year. What I think we've come up with is the following: put a building back by the fence line and move all the tools/garden equipment from the barn and the house into it. Move the now empty barn back to the fence line next to the new building and empty our storage unit into the barn. Get another building and put it back next to the barn and put all the computers and computer equipment back there.
Not only would that make the house pretty empty, we'd be saving money with the storage unit being empty. We'd be saving gas money from making trips to the storage unit. We'd be able to go through the storage stuff at our own pace. Another thing is that since the house would be pretty decluttered, we could focus on the renovations.
I would have to move my garden, but I could move it up to where the barn is now. It'd be less of a walk, and the garden would then be next to the aquaponics setup. It's all coming together. Slowly, but it's coming together. We may actually start renovations this year! That'd be a blessing from the Lord for sure!
Today, my focus will be on laundry. I also need to work on the ledgers and pull the chicken out of the freezer for tomorrow's meal. I'm also going to focus on my water intake. Yesterday was progress, but I didn't get as much water in as I needed to. Today is a new day, though, and I'm hoping that by the end of the year, eight glasses of water a day will be a habit, not a struggle.
That's all I have for now, folks. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
