Today's Bible Reading- Ephesians Chapters 1-3.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well and staying warm. Our forecast for today: 54°, 10% chance of rain, and we're in an air quality alert. Right on the line of going green, though! Hopefully it'll go into green later today.
At the moment, it's 32°. Brr! Just think. If it were raining, we may have snow. We had a hard time staying warm last night. I think I may need a bigger heater in my room. Thankfully, the Lord gave me an idea to help Gracie keep warm. I put the heating pad under her pillow, and turned it on the lowest setting: Warm. She enjoys getting on there for a little bit. Right now, though, she's lying on the shirt I wore yesterday, which is quite warm. Poor thing. Getting old is tough. The older you get, the less you can stand the cold weather.
I'm up pretty early this morning. I got up at 5:03 thanks to Gracie. She thought I needed to get up and give her nom noms. She's been happily snoozing and following me around as I get up and get a cup of coffee, turn the Christmas tree lights on, go to the restroom, do my hair.
Yesterday ended up being an online Christmas shopping event. It was too cold for Mom to go out. She made a list of things she wanted me to find and I found and ordered them. I think Saturday will be my Christmas shopping day.
I have my grocery list mostly done. I have a couple of things that need adding on, but they're not super important things. Just more body scrub for me, and I may get some more bathroom cleaner. I don't know if we have window cleaner or not. I need to clean the front door and put the Christmas stickies up.
Today's focus is grocery shopping and making burgers for supper. I also need to balance the ledgers and make a bank run. That'll be most of my day there. In addition to groceries, I need to stock up on ground beef and break it down into meal portions. That'll take some time as well. So, it sounds like my day is going to be full.
I didn't get to work on my sock yesterday, but that's okay. I want to do it right, so when I do work on it, I need total focus to be on it.
Well, folks, I have a shower to take, and if I can get out early enough, I can get to the store and back before lunch! Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
