Today's Bible Reading- Ephesians Chapters 4-6.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 61°, 50% chance of rain, and our air quality is in the yellow. Right on the line of being green, but it chooses to be in the yellow. Probably why I have a headache. Although, if it's going to rain today, that's probably another reason I could have a headache.
I've been up for a while. My first wakeup was at 4:45 this morning. I was so hot. I found another heater yesterday and put it on the other side of my room. Gracie has loved it. Me. . . not so much. I fell back to sleep and woke up around 5:30. I think it was 5:30. So hot. Gracie was absolutely comfortable. Chilling on her pillow.
We've had an issue with the nom noms. Last night, Mom was giving Gracie her bit and out comes a whole bunch of oil. The nom noms have separated. Not cool. My guess is that this particular batch had too much veggie oil in it. The expiration date is January of 2025. So, either they used too much veggie oil or something's wrong. Either way, we have no more nom noms. I've had this issue with the last couple of tubes of nom nom gel, so I ordered a different brand.
Of course, Gracie doesn't understand why there's no nom noms this morning, and she's a bit upset.
Mom was up for a little bit already. Probably an hour or so ago. We discussed nom noms and then she went back to bed. I made me a cup of coffee and have been browsing the web, but it's light enough out that I can start to do my Bible readings.
I was going to go out and Christmas shop today, but I may stay in and just order online. I don't know. I know I wanted to get my bestie a present. Maybe pick up a couple of books for her girls. The present I wanted to get her is online, though. I've already ordered nom noms, so maybe they'll get here tomorrow or Monday. We'll have to soldier through this weekend.
Today I need to break down the ground beef I bought into meal portions. I also need to pull down the pressure cooker so I can use it's slow cooker function tomorrow. I'm a bit leary about using it, but since I'm using the slow cook function, there won't be any pressure used. It should be okay.
I'm slowly making progress on my sock. I did a few rows yesterday evening.
So, in recap. Today is going to be spent Christmas shopping and splitting ground beef into meal portions.
