Today's Bible Reading- Acts Chapters 4-10.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today, Election Day, is the following: 70°, 0% chance of rain, and air quality in the green. We also have a fire alert today, so there's that.
How are you doing? What a weekend I had! I'd fully intended on being home Sunday night, but circumstances didn't allow for that. I ended up staying overnight about halfway home. My weekend was enjoyable, though. Bekah had a great time, we got to hang out with my cousins, and it was clear that this trip was meant for Bekah. Don't you just love watching God working on someone's behalf?
Anyhoo, we had a blast and did a ton of walking around. I'd love to know if I lose any weight from it all. At any rate, sometimes we bring things home we shouldn't, and I did just that. I brought home a cold. I haven't had a cold in a long time, and I forgot how annoying they are. You don't feel bad enough to just chill out in bed, but you don't feel good enough to do much of anything either. I'll have to stock up on elderberry stuff and soup.
Now that I'm home, it's time to get back into the swing of things. I have a stack of bills to pay, groceries to buy (the fridge is almost empty), and there was something else but I forgot what it was.
I'm up super early this morning thanks to my cold. I haven't read my Bible yet, but that's next on my list. I may make myself a cup of coffee first.
Gracie is quite happy that I'm home. From what I understand, she was quite the pill this weekend. She was fine during the day, but Mom said at night she'd howl and look down the hallway waiting for me. Poor thing. She's currently on my bed, curled up on my hoodie, purring away.
Today's goals include the big one--voting--and then we'll make a trip to the dollar store for soup and elderberry stuff. That's probably all I'll get done today besides paying the bills.
That's all for now, folks. We were supposed to have a blood moon this morning, but I don't know which horizon it would've been on. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. And vote today! This is probably the most important election we've ever had in our country.
