Today's Bible Reading- 2 Corinthians Chapters 7-13.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. Our forecast for today: 64°, 20% chance of rain, and air quality is in the green.

I completely spaced on writing yesterday! I apologize. Yesterday was a busy day. I went to Hobby Lobby and found some lights for the mini tree, and I put it up in my room. I plugged the lights in and they worked. Then I unplugged the lights and switched them to a different plug, and only half worked. Then I switched them back thinking it was the plug. Still only half worked. Bummer. I let it go, but it was bugging me. I unplugged them last night before bed, and I just plugged them back in. They all work. Riddle me that. I'm grateful. I'm not going to complain. I'm happy that all the lights are working.

The main tree is absolutely gorgeous this year! Also a very thirsty tree! I put a little extra water in him today. We don't normally have two trees, but the mini tree from last year was sitting there, and I didn't want it wasted for the season. I have it set up in my room. A number of the mini ornaments I bought for it last year were broken, but I used as many as I could.

I have news on my sweater. I finished it. According to Mom, it makes me look a lot fatter than I already am. My words, not hers. She was trying to be diplomatic about it. The other issue is that my tension was too tight. I look like I'm permanently shrugging my shoulders. So, I finished my sweater but it didn't work out. That's okay. I finished a project! Finally! I'm working on socks now. Hopefully, these will fit. I really want to be able to knit things that I can wear!

Today is Taco Tuesday! Woo hoo! Back to some sort of normalcy. I hope. I have yet to go to the grocery store for weekly groceries, but I did go yesterday to pick up some lunch/supper. Which reminds me. My best friend has asked me if I'd ever heard of Purple Carrot meal delivery. I hadn't, but I saw some of their meals in the frozen section of the store. She and her girls aren't vegetarians, but they don't eat a lot of meat. Her girls are also gluten and dairy free due to allergies. I need to tell her I saw them in the store. If I can find my phone. It may need to be charged.

I also ordered Gracie's food, some more straw for Thelma's shelter, and I think I bought more catnip. Gracie's is starting to lose it's nippiness. The bag is also almost empty. I think I've had it for several years now. Cricket was never in to catnip, rest in peace. She would smell it and then nothing. Gracie goes bonkers. She rolls all over the floor, purring up a storm, but don't touch her. She'll bite. Ask me how I know.

Anyhoo. So tacos for supper tonight. I also have my ladies' study today at 11:30, according to my cousin. I'll have to be up and around for that. Thank the Lord I washed my hair yesterday!

I can't think of anything else at the moment. Maybe I can get a trash bag full of stuff for the recycling center. I found a new way to get there! Less potholes and marsh on both sides. It's really a pretty drive.

I saw Mom was just getting up, so I need to go start the coffee maker. I've been up about an hour. I must have needed it. I had an early bedtime last night, and I slept mostly through the night. Gracie's had one round of nom noms from me. She's curled up on her pillow. Mm. I'd like to go Christmas shopping this week, too. Maybe not today, though.

Well, that's all for now, folks. I have a lot to do. I need to let my cousin know that I'll be in the study today. We do it over Zoom with another lady, and I think we may be adding some ladies this week, too. I'm not sure on that one. I also have a Christmas present to wrap for Pop, and I need to order a present for Mom. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
