Yay am a year older by tomorrow and I am excited for it. I still remember my childhood days were birthday was a very big deal for me. I used to plan a lot of things before my birthday and I was very particular about many things like my outfit, birthday cake and inviting my friends for birthday party at home. I was very choosy about which Chocolates to distribute to my classmates and Teachers at school. Some birthdays are really special where I got a special gift from my parents which is a bike.
Even today my 8th birthday is really special for me, my bike became like best friend to me. I used to take it to school every day. Some gifts are like treasure where we keep it safe in our memories for years. Birthdays are really special because it's a day where you get so much pampering from everyone. Celebrating birthdays in school was special and there comes my 15th birthday where I was studying my 10th standard and last days of school as I will be attending my college after that.
Frankly 15th birthday was special as it was emotional it's like less birthday type and more farewell to friends from school. Those were some moments of my childhood which I cherish a lot. I still remember the excitement for my birthday cakes. Birthday party in the evening with my friends which is one of my favourite things which I always waited for.
After school I joined residential college and the first birthday there was one of the most memorable birthday as I got a surprise birthday party from some of my close friends. Initially they acted like they don't know my birthday and in evening they arranged a surprise cake. That was the most exciting birthday which I celebrated in college.
After I joined my engineering college my birthdays were celebrated by my family as usual. I kept my birthdays in engineering little simple as I was not so much interested to celebrate much. Final year of college the birthday was a blast as I invited my friends to home as it was a last year and we had so much fun.
After my studies when I stayed in Hyderabad, birthdays were into previous form again. We had a lot of fun with so many friends and we enjoyed a lot. I got a surprise birthday and I celebrated many surprise birthdays of my friends. The happiness of my friends when I celebrated their birthdays were memorable moments.
So my first birthday after marriage was celebrated in Kolkata, India in 2012 and it was grand birthday party. Though we celebrated among ourselves, we had an amazing time. I visited Kolkata for the first time in my life and I loved the city very much. Marriage is a special phase in everyone's life and first birthday after marriage will always be precious and my husband knows how to pamper me. I also loved the Kolkata food which was special. The city is famous for sweets and I enjoyed a lot of them. I made a tradition for cutting birthday cake on 12 am. I love celebrating my family members birthdays and they really feel special. So in a decade of our marriage lives, each and every birthday has its own charm.
As each birthday brings lot of things like new dresses, gifts, wishes, pampering from loved ones. I am a fan of gadgets and my husband makes sure to gift something special on every birthday of mine. I feel excited when I get surprise gifts. We go for lunch on my birthday and it's a buffet most of the times.
So the thing is here birthdays are special days for me. It may be my birthday or my loved ones. I make sure to surprise my family members birthdays.
This year is really special because I upgraded my WordPress plan and I am taking blogging seriously like never before. I wrote a post about homemaking earlier. I mentioned there earlier that I will be taking blogging seriously and I couldn't believe the things have changed drastically. My blog is receiving a lot of love and attention after upgrading my plan and with change in website looks.
I thank my husband on this occasion because he set up my workspace earlier, his consistent motivation and surprise WordPress upgraded plan. I always remember this year and this birthday like always my Passions are Pampered which made me on the top of the world. I got a lot of fiction novels as presents. I always wanted my identity and do something which makes me happy especially in creative field. When dreams come true the feeling is really awesome.
So coming to birthday rituals I have few different outfits which I am going to wear, we will go for lunch and of course cake will be there. I love celebrating this way and I so excited for this one.
This year went by so fast and left with so many memories. I thank my loved ones who always pamper and make me feel special. Sometimes small things give a lot of happiness. I wrote this post one day ahead as I will be busy celebrating my birthday tomorrow.
