Everyone had a wonderful time at the Chickmas party.  Gifts were given, games were played, and the stage acts were fantastic.  Some of the chicklets are still asleep, but things have to be done, and the chicklets and their guests are excited to get ready for the  New year's Eve party.

All of Holly's food is gone and Beth, and her cats have gone home, Resa left, after doing her Egg Dance last night, and the treats she brought have also been eaten.  The kitchen is busy, cookies are being made and bales of hay are being delivered.  Food for the guests is piling up and the mice and hedgehogs are busy building nests.

The hospital is almost empty.  Just three hens and a tiny piglet are left, but they will all be okay in a day or two, according to the hens.  The last raid, on a Factory Farm, saved a lot of lives, but each one lost is a crushing blow to those who truly love.

There's going to be a coloring constest for the youngest chicklets, to see what the Time Hen looks like when she comes to fast-forward us into the next year.

So, things are moving along and the weather is cooperating, so everyone is happy.  It has been decided that the Gondola will not be taken out of storage, since it's just too cold to be on the Rubber Duck Pond.

Ravens and crows are bringing berries and food from the fields, and a pheasant stopped by, for the first time.  The chicklets were delighted and asked her to stay as long as she liked.

The hens have been holding meetings with the roosters, mapping out their next raids.  Guests have asked for help in their areas, so things are gearing up and the hospital will soon be full.  The Warming Bunnies are ready and always on call.

So, everyone is off doing what they do best...living life to it's fullest.
