Today's Bible Reading- Psalm Chapters 145-150 & 1 Corinthians Chapter 11.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you're well. It's a bit humid today, but we did get some rain yesterday afternoon. Our high today is expected to be 83*, a nice break from the 90s, and we have a 20% chance of rain.
Mom had a good time out yesterday. We spent a couple of hours going out and getting things she needed. We picked up some supper and made it home about 20 minutes before the rain came. I was able to get the leftover Sevin granules spread out before it came, too. I was booking it around the back yard!
I'm not finished spreading the granules out, but I did want to empty out the spreader so the leftovers from doing the front yard wouldn't be ruined by the rain.
In other news, I just ordered two sets of mum seeds. They were expensive, but I want to put some fall color in the front yard. Give the neighborhood (and my mom---let's face it, I love to spoil her) a smile.
Gracie is fairly happy today. She's had nom noms, breakfast, and I refilled her dry food and cleaned her water fountain. Really, it's been a productive morning already. A new month with renewed hope. Hope that God will step in and save America. He's our only hope.
I did get to make my bed today. Gracie has been hogging it in the morning this week and napping. I didn't have the heart to move her, so the bed didn't get made. While she was bugging Mom for nom noms though, I took the opportunity to make the bed. She'd now snuggled in her pillow and taking her morning nap.
Since I didn't get the tacos made last night, I'm going to make them for lunch today. Supper is supposed to be sausage hash. We shall see if we get that. I do have some laundry that could be done, and I can get my grocery list together for the week. It truly is a blessing to have the rotating menu. I can't even begin to express what a load it's taken off my shoulders. Next week's menu is the following: Grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and chef's choice of veggie, BLT's with fruit (BLT stands for bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich for those unaware), Steak fajitas, Omelet with fruit, Philly cheesesteaks with fruit, and burgers with fries.
That's all I have for now, folks. I need to shower and get my hair washed. I may try to work on my sock today as well. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.
