  3. 1 table spoon ginger, garlic and 1green chili paste

How To Make Potato Stuffed Paratha

  • Add three cup of wheat flour, little oil, required salt and water to form a smooth dough. Knead the ingredients very well and make soft balls
  • Cover the dough and let rest for some time.
  • Boil 1 kg of medium size potato in a pressure cooker with sufficient water for 3 to 4 whistles in medium heat. After check if the potatoes have cooked. Keep to cool down then peel them and mash until soft and smooth. Break up the all chunks of the potatoes otherwise chunks will tear the aloo paratha.
  • Heat 1 table spoon coconut oil and sputter the mustard, cumin seeds subsequently add finely chopped onion to it, when the onion becomes translucent add ginger, garlic and green chili paste. Saute for a while and then put coriander, chili, cumin, and fennel powder. Meanwhile add the mashed potato with salt. Combine the components well. Subsequently drop curry leaves and coriander leaves also. Check the taste and add more for your choice.
  • Divide the mix into equal portions as the dough balls.
  • Next sprinkle the flour on the rolling surface so that the dough doesn't stick. Dip the ball of dough in the flour and flatten it into a 4 to 5 inch circle.
  • Press the portion of the potato mix inside of the flattened paratha. Grab the dough and close it around the potato mix and pinch the end close. Ensure the edges are closed.
  • Apply some flour on the rolling place and roll it evenly .
